The way to think about us is highlighted below:
Civis is not conservative, liberal, socialist, or libertarian. Civis is developmentally preservative: it conserves what raises collective awareness, reforms what suppresses it, and rejects any tradition, ideology, or institution that survives only through obedience, fear, dependency, or tribal identity.
Civis conserves responsibility, evidence, institutional trust, family and community where they genuinely support development, freedom of thought, freedom from religious coercion, national competence, educational seriousness, and long-term stewardship.
Civis does not conserve inherited authority, religious privilege, class protection, nostalgic nationalism, performative patriotism, tribal party identity, or moral rules that cannot survive rational scrutiny.
We are not here to recruit into left/right theatre. We are here to improve the quality of public thinking.
